da betsul: Tottenham are now in talks to sign one ‘very intelligent’ West Ham player, according to a very reliable media source, which has come as quite the surprise.

Tottenham transfer plans as Frank seals job-saving Dortmund win

da 888casino: A crucial European victory for Tottenham on Tuesday evening provides temporary respite for embattled manager Thomas Frank, while their recruitment planning continues in the background.

Spurs demolished Borussia Dortmund 2-0 at home, with goals from Cristian Romero and Dominic Solanke meaning they’re on the verge of qualification for the knockout rounds.

Just days earlier, following Saturday’s West Ham defeat, supporters had directed ‘getting sacked in the morning’ chants towards Frank, and the Dane’s seven-month tenure appeared increasingly untenable after eight losses from their last 14 league games.

Now, even though issues remain, Frank has at least been handed some much-needed breathing room.

Attention now briefly shifts back towards their January transfer activity, with Spurs still in serious need of a new forward after sealing deals for Souza and Conor Gallagher.

Mohammed Kudus is out until after the March international break following the Ghanaian’s injury against Sunderland, while James Maddison and Dejan Kulusevski continue their rehabilitation.

Brennan Johnson’s £35 million switch to Crystal Palace also leaves Frank very short of options on the right-hand side, prompting links to a host of top-class wingers as we enter the latter phase of this window.

GiveMeSport and talkSPORT’s Ben Jacobs reported this afternoon that Tottenham have made a ‘surprise’ enquiry over Crysencio Summerville, who’s valued by their London rivals at around £25 million.

The Dutchman, who was a thorn in Spurs’ side last weekend, would be an excellent option considering the mooted fee, but he’s not the only West Ham player turning heads at N17.

Tottenham in talks with West Ham over signing Mads Hermansen

In what is a pretty bizarre development, the extremely credible West Ham insider ExWHUemployee now states that Tottenham are in talks with West Ham over a loan deal for goalkeeper Mads Hermansen.

The keeper, who joined the Irons from Leicester City last summer, is a benchwarmer behind Alphonse Areola, but Frank is said to be a real admirer of his Danish compatriot.

The transfer would see Spurs back-up Antonin Kinsky go the other way in a similar deal, with Nuno believed to be a fan of the ex-Slavia Prague sensation.

Hermansen will presumably look to battle Guglielmo Vicario for a place between the sticks at Tottenham, with the latter enduring criticism this term for his handling of crosses in the area.

The 25-year-old, who’ll be looking to earn a place in Denmark’s World Cup squad, has been called a bright and exciting young keeper by Casper Ankergren.

Ankergren is also on record calling him a “fast” and “athletic” keeper too, but this potential deal has come a bit out of nowhere.
